新华医院神经外科是上海交通大学重点学科，临床规模和学术影响力位居上海第二，年手术量3500台以上，涵盖神经外科各个领域，并以功能神经外科、脑肿瘤和脑血管病为重点；每年发表SCI论文约30篇，有较好的工作积累和良好的研究条件。学科带头人李世亭教授是中华医学会神经外科学会全国委员，上海医学会神经外科分会副主任委员，世界颅神经外科医师联盟（WNFCND）前任主席。
随着学科的发展壮大，我们拟筹建上海市颅神经疾病研究所，进一步提升科研层次，参与更高水平的学术竞争，为此我们拟引进若干名专职科研PI，我们将提供有竞争力的薪酬和良好的科研条件，欢迎博士后、中青年科学家加盟。

（1）生物学、遗传学、生化与分子生物学、肿瘤学、免疫学、基础医学、干细胞、新材料、神经病理、神经内科、神经外科等相关学科博士；

Department of Neurosurgery, Xinhua Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine
   
     Neurosurgery of Xinhua Hospital is a key discipline of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, with the second largest clinical scale and academic influence in Shanghai. Our annual operations reach more than 3,500, covering all fields of neurosurgery, with focus on functional neurosurgery, brain tumor and cerebrovascular disease. We published about 30 SCI papers each year, resulting in a good work accumulation. We have good conditions for basic research. Professor Li Shi-Ting is a national committee member of Chinese Society of Neurosurgery, vice chairman of Shanghai Society of Neurosurgery, and former chairman of World Federation of Cranial Neurosurgeons (WNFCND).
     With the development of the discipline, we plan to establish the Shanghai Cranial Nerve Disease Research Institute to further enhance the level of scientific research and participate in a higher level of academic competition. For this reason, we plan to employ several full-time Principle Investigators. We provide competitive salary and good research platform. We welcome postdoctoral fellows , young and middle-aged scientists to join us.
