Position 3: Lecturer/Professor of smart sensors in water supply and sewer networks
This position will focus on development and application of smart sensors for water supply and sewer networks. The candidate is to develop wireless sensor network capabilities to
enable high date rate, real time monitoring of a large urban water distribution system. Assimilate real time measurements into hydraulic models to improve state estimation, and Monitor hydraulic and water quality parameters enabling remote detection of leaks and real-time tracking of contamination events.
The successful candidate shall hold a PhD or equivalent degree in civil or mechanical engineering, applied mathematics, electronics, computer engineering related to either optical sensors, MEMS and/or machine learning methods. Applicants must have a proven product R&D track record, and demonstrate strong organisation and inter personal skills required to work in the multidisciplinary project team.
