2017年厦门大学“南强青年学者”论坛公告 - 厦门大学

一、论坛简介
厦门大学由著名爱国华侨领袖陈嘉庚先生于1921年创办，是中国政府“211工程”和“985工程”重点建设的高水平大学，有2个牵头建设的协同创新中心获得国家“2011计划”认定。学校学科门类齐全、师资力量雄厚、在国际上有广泛影响，是从事人才培养、科学研究的理想学府。学校依山傍海、风光秀丽，是公认的中国最美丽的大学之一。

厦门大学“南强青年学者”论坛旨在面向海内外汇聚一批在学术上崭露头角、创新能力强、发展潜力大的优秀青年人才，在国际前沿科技及热点研究领域展开交流与探讨，促进学科交叉与学术创新，增进相互合作与互信，加深对厦门大学的全面了解。

二、论坛设置
厦门大学“南强青年学者”论坛定于2017年4月8-10日在厦门大学思明校区举行。此次论坛设置1个主论坛和人文与艺术、社会科学、自然科学、工程技术、医学与生命科学、地球科学与技术等6个分论坛，诚邀海内外优秀青年学者报名参会。

三、申请条件
符合以下申请条件之一：
1．“四青人才”：国家“青年千人计划”、国家“青年拔尖人才支持计划”、国家自然科学基金优秀青年科学基金项目或教育部“长江学者奖励计划”青年学者项目入选者。
2．符合中组部“青年千人计划”申报条件的优秀青年人才：自然科学（含医学）、工程技术相关学科，年龄不超过40周岁；具有海外知名高校博士学位，或具有国内博士学位及3年以上海外科研工作经历。
3．符合厦门大学“南强青年拔尖人才支持计划”的优秀青年人才：人文艺术、社会科学相关学科，年龄不超过45周岁，具有博士学位；在本学科领域已崭露头角，并取得公认的、有影响力的重大成果，近五年在学术论文、科研项目等方面取得重要学术成就。

四、申请方式
1．请登录http://jobs.xmu.edu.cn/00/29/c13916a262185/page.htm进行报名，报名截止时间：2017年3月10日。
2．学校对申请人进行资格审核后，将于2017年3月20日前向审核通过人员发送邀请函。

五、日程安排
4月8日全天 报到；
4月9日上午 开幕式及主论坛专题报告会；
4月9日下午 分论坛学术研讨会；
4月10日全天 青年学者与各相关学院座谈交流。

六、会议资助
学校统一安排食宿并提供往返旅费补助（国外参会者最高人民币1万元/人，国内参会者最高人民币5千元/人）。

八、人才待遇
“四青人才”及“南强青年拔尖人才支持计划”入选者享受以下待遇：
岗位：教授、副教授；
薪酬：教授50万元/年起、副教授32万元/年起；
住房：周转房+住房补贴100万元；
经费：人文学科入选者30-50万元,社会科学、数学学科入选者50-100万元，自然科学、工程技术以及医科入选者100-300万元；
空间：优先保障；
招生：倾斜支持。

依托我校申报并入选国家“青年千人计划”的引进人才，可享受国家、省市生活补助112.5万元（免税），子女在义务教育阶段可择校一次；引进的其他“南强青年拔尖人才支持计划”人选，若符合福建省引进高层次人才评价认定办法（文件详见：http://rsc.xmu.edu.cn/rcxm/list.htm），申报入选后可享受安家补助12.5、25、50万元。

Xiamen University Youth Scholar Forum 2017
Xiamen University was founded in 1921 by Tan Kah Kee, the well-known patriotic overseas Chinese leader. Xiamen University is one of Chinese premier universities as designated by Chinese National Ministry of Education under the national “211 Project” and “985 Project”. Two Collaborative Innovation Centers initiative launched by XMU have been included in the “2011 Project”, a nationwide initiative launched by the government to upgrade innovation of higher education. Encompassing a diverse range of academic and professional disciplines, endowed with a rigorous and highly accomplished faculty, and enjoyed a worldwide influence, Xiamen University is an ideal environment for career development and academic research. The Forum aims to bring together a group of outstanding young talents who have achieved academic prominence, great innovation potential and great development potential. 2.Application Requirements
Applicants shall meet one of the following conditions:
1)Member of State Pre-eminent Youth Fund, young scholar of Chang Jiang Scholar Program, member of One-thousand Youth Program, member of State Outstanding Youth Fund;
2)Young talents who meet the requirements of One-thousand Youth Program: under 40 years old with natural science, engineering or technology background; have Ph.D. Degree and at least 3 years’ research experience overseas or have overseas’ Ph.D. Degree.
3)Young talents who meet the requirements of Nanqiang Outstanding Young Talents: under 45 years old with Ph.D. Degree of humanities and arts, social science and relevant disciplines background; cut a striking figure in his or her field with widely accepted and influenced important outcome, and have significant achievements in academic thesis and scientific research in recent 5 years.

7.Treatment
Member of State Pre-eminent Youth Fund, young scholar of Chang Jiang Scholar Program, member of One-thousand Youth Program, member of State Outstanding Youth Fund, Nanqiang Outstanding Young Talents will enjoy the treatment below:
1)	Position: Professor or Associate Professor.
2)	Salary: Professor -----minimize RMB450,000 per year；
Associate Professor----- minimize RMB300,000 per year.
3)	Housing: Provide relocation housing & housing subsidy 1 million RMB. 
4)	Funding:
Humanities and arts -- 300,000 to 500,000 RMB;
Social science and mathematics -- 500,000 to 1,000,000 RMB；Natural science,engineering and medicine -- 1,000,000 to 3,000,000 RMB.
5)	Work Space: Priority.
6)	Student Enrollment: Highly support.
Young talents who successfully apply One-thousand Youth Program via Xiamen University have the subsidy 1,125,000RMB (tax free) and   are available to select top primary or middle schools for children.
