1. Positions 
Outstanding Professors with Leadership Skills (领军型人才) in the areas of biomedical engineering (1-2 positions) and biophysics (1-2 positions)  

Qualification:
 ● The applicant should be under 55, has a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. from a prestigious overseas university, and expected to work at HUST fulltime.  
 ● Has full professorship or an equivalent position in prestigious universities or well-known institutions. 
 ● Has leadership skills and can lead a research group to solve key scientific problems.
 ● Has a track record in performing top-notch biomedical research and publishing in biomedical journals with the highest impact.
 ● Has an interest in both teaching and research.

Young Thousand Talents Program Scholars(青年千人计划) (Multiple Positions)  

Qualification: 
 ● A potential applicant shall be under 40
 ● Has the potential to qualify for the National Young Thousand Talents Program as judged by peers
 ● Has the potential to compete for a Cheung Kung Scholar position or to obtain the Outstanding Young Scientist fund from NSF of China in the future 

3. Salaries and Benefits 
 ● Full professor position with a base salary of 350,000~450,000 RMB per year commensurate with qualifications and experience
 ● Research start-up fund (4~8 Million RMB)
 ● Personal setting allowance (1~1.5 Million RMB)
 ● Helping to rent a three-bedroom apartment on  the campus
 ● Job arrangement for the spouse in HUST
 ● Laboratory space (~100 m2)
 ● Will provide 1-2 Research Assistant positions within one appointment period
