Performing biophysical characterizations and activity assays of selected molecules using surface Plasmon resonance (SPR) technology 2. Performs protein characterization experiments. 3. Operates and maintains equipment and instruments. 4. Analyzes, interprets, summarizes, compiles and presents data. 5. Keeps appropriate experimental records and documentation. 6. Other responsibilities may be added at the company's discretion. 7. Performing protein expression in mammalian system including antibody, soluble protein and cell membrane protein. 8. Performing stable cell line establishment for long term protein and antibody production 9. Viral expression system development including lentivirus, Adenovirus and AAV. 10. High throughput protein mutagenesis and expression development 11. Participate in the departmental project planning and management. 12. Provide direction for the development of new technologies related to protein expression. 13. Manage internal and external client needs and meet all expected timelines. 14. Train personnel on the operation and procedures for protein expression reviewing laboratory lab notebooks. 15. Keeps appropriate experimental records and documentation. 16. Other responsibilities may be added at the company's discretion. Requirements: 1. PhD Degree in biochemistry, protein science, bioinformatics or a related discipline, 2. Hands-on experience of protein-protein or protein-small molecule binding interactions using surface Plasmon resonance (SPR) technology (e.g. Biacore, ProteOn) or Octect, ITC is highly desirable. 3. Knowledge about protein-protein interaction. 4. Experience of protein characterization especially antibody characterization using SEC-HPLC, LC/MS, circular dichroism, SDS-PAGE is desirable. 5. Experience in protein modeling is a plus. 6. Knowledge of therapeutic antibody is a plus. 7. High degree of motivation and strong communication skills required. 8. Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques and cell culture techniques. 9. Hands on experiences with protein purification, characterization such as PAGE, westernblot and HPLC etc. 10. Deep knowledge of cell biology, be able to interpret data from FACS or other cell characterization instrument. 11. Be able to retrieve protein sequence data from public resources and design strategies for protein expression 12. Knowledge of therapeutic antibody development 13. Protein structure knowledge a plus 14. Strong communication skills in both Chinese and English.
