一、论坛简介
国际青年学者东湖论坛，旨在集聚海内外不同学术背景的海内外优秀青年学者，在国际前沿科技及热点研究领域展开交流与探讨。论坛设置数学、物理、化学材料与环境、工程科学、信息科学、生命科学、人文社会科学以及医学八个分论坛。通过报告和讨论，促进国际学者之间的交流和合作，共同为解决国际前沿问题和建设可持续发展的未来而努力。
二、申请条件
年龄在40岁以下；具有海外知名大学博士学位；或者具有国内博士学位，并在海外工作2年以上。在自然科学与工程技术、经济管理与人文社科等领域取得一定成绩或具有发展潜力的海内外优秀青年人才。
三、申请时间
登陆www.eastlakeforum-hust.org了解会议详情，提交参会申请。11月20日申请截止；11月25日前发出参会通知。
四、日程安排
12月28日 全天报到；
12月29-30日 论坛报告与交流。
五、差旅及住宿
受邀参会学者往返差旅经费由主办单位提供，论坛期间食宿由主办单位统一安排。

1. About the Forum
The East Lake International Forum for Outstanding Overseas Young Scholars(East Lake Forum) aims at gathering outstanding young scientists and technologists all over the world to interact and discuss emerging frontiers in science and technology. The forum covers a wide range of disciplines including mathematics, physics, chemical engineering & materials science, engineering, information science, bioscience, humanities, social sciences and medicine. Through presentations and discussions, the forum will foster cross-disciplinary exchange and cooperation among the meeting participants in emerging scientific and technological fields and contribute to sustainable development.
2. Requirements for applicants
To be eligible to apply, you must: 
	Be under 40 years of age as of December 31, 2014 
	Hold a doctoral degree from a world renowned university or a from a Chinese university with at least 2-year overseas working experience
	Have shown innovation and potential in your area of focus (science, engineering, economics, management, humanities and social sciences etc.)
3. Deadline for application
Please visit our website (www.eastlakeforum-hust.org) and submit your application form by November 20, 2014. Qualified applicants will be contacted by Novermeber 25, 2014.

Dec 29- 30: Opening Ceremony, Invited speeches and Presentations

Participants can enjoy travel reimbursement (￥10,000 top), free accommodation and catering during the forum.
