Research Scientist – New Application Development for Internet of Things & Services 

Corporate Research in Shanghai, China 
Responsibilities: 
• Lead and develop new application for the IoTS selected domains of supply chain safety in food and drugs, and/or building energy management. 
• Develop new technical concepts and business model 
• Participation in large scale test-bed to generate proof-of-concept of new innovation 
• Evaluation of technology trends in IoTS in China 
• Cooperation with our business units in technology transfer and business case analysis 
• Analyze internet technology trends in China and Korea. 

Requirements: 
• Highly accomplished PhD studies in the field of computer science or electronics engineering. 
• With 3-5 years research experience in either field of Cloud, Middleware or Wireless Sensor Network. 
• Experience in Pre-development or proof of concept study (conceptualizing, design and implementing) of an IoTS like solution. 
• Experience with Java or C++. 
• Entrepreneurial or business oriented mindset. (Added advantage) 
• Innovative and creative, able to work independently to develop new solution.
